GCPH is offering the Moderna vaccine to children who are 6 months and older
Greene County Public Health is offering the Moderna vaccine to those children who are 6 months and older beginning at our clinic on Friday, June 24, 2022.
On June 14 and 15, 2022, FDA advisors recommended the agency grant emergency use authorization for Pfizer and Moderna vaccines for children as young as six months old. The CDC approved this over the weekend. This authorization adds young children age 6 months through 4 years old to those already eligible to get a Pfizer vaccine, and children and adolescents age 6 months through 17 years old to get a Moderna vaccine.
Our Friday clinics are 8:30-10am and 2-3:30pm. Walk-ins are welcome or you can make an appointment at gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov
